Drivers Intervention Program (DIP)

Our Drivers Intervention Program is offered as an alternative to Ohio's 3 day mandatory minimum jail time sentence after an OVI. In other states, this class in mandatory. Our program is a 72-hour residential program that meets the requirements for multiple states, including; Ohio, West Virginia, Vermont, Florida, Missouri, Alaska, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

We are offering this program at the Red Roof Inn in Jackson, Ohio.
The program fee is $400.00 and is payable on the first day of class.

Court Alcohol Substance Education Program (CASEP)

CASEP is a 3-hour alcohol education program, specifically developed to meet the needs of the Athens County Municipal Court. Most clients are under the age of 21, and have been charged either consumption or possession of alcohol.
All attendees will be given a Certificate of Completion to submit to the Athens County Municipal Court for credit.
The program fee is $50.00

All classes are offered at 2PM, and will be held at:
11 East Washington Street
Athens, Ohio.


Shoplifting and Theft Education Program (STEP 1,2,3)

STEP 1 is a 4-hour education program, developed in conjunction with the Athens County Municipal Court's Diversion Program. The program is offered to first-time theft offenders as an alternative to sentencing. The fee is $60.

STEP 2 is an 8-hour class for people who have been charged with theft more than once. A brief assessment is included as part of the program. The fee is $125.

STEP 3 is an intensive program offered to people who have committed felony theft and addresses the reasons for these behaviours. Clients are evaluated for kleptomania, addiction, and other behavioural disorders, and provided individual counselling as appropriate. Fees are offered on a sliding scale based upon need.
